8 Best Actor awards in one year for Kanika!

Kanika was introduced in Tamil cinema through Sasi Ganesan directed film ‘Five star’. Though she did not get officers in Tamil cinema after her wedding, she has been busy in Malayalam films. During 2009 she got the best actor award 8 times. Her film ‘Bhagya devathai’ won 8 awards including “Asianet Award”, “Mathrubhumi Award” and Vanitha Magazine Amma Award. Presently she is doing the Malayalam film ‘Christian brothers’ starring frontline Malayalam heroes Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi.
