The Sabarimala authorities are tearing their hair in vexation. Could this have really happened?
Yesteryear actress has come to the rescue. Though he was a villain in films, in real life he is an ardent devotee of Sabarimalai Iyappa. He has been making the pilgrimage to Sabarimala for a record 62 years. So many film personalities have gone to Sabarimala under his guidance.
“Like actress Jayamala said, it is not possible to enter the sanctum of Iyappa and touch the idol. She is lying. But one can’t accuse her for this. It’s the men who laid down the law that women should not come to Sabarimala temple. This was meant to prevent men’s attention from wandering. If the men are good, women can also come bravely to the temple.” This is easier said than done since only Lord Iyappa and Nambiar are good people!
With regard to Sudha Chandran’s claim, Nambiar says, “I also acted in ‘Nambinaar Keduvadhillai.’ Sudha Chandran did not dance on the 18th step like she claims. It is anyway not possible to. She did climb up the steps, that much is true. When this happened, my wife was also with me. She can also vouch for it.”
As a final punch line aimed at the temple authorities and devotees, Nambiar says, “Both the actresses are lying. Do not believe them!”
As long as the matter is solved, hats off to the on screen villain, off screen god fearing man!
