The party was launched at a function at Padmaram Mahal in Vadapalani yesterday. Radhika Sarath lit the lamp and Sarath announced the party name and introduced the party flag.
"This is the start of a new chapter in my life. The party's aim is to create a society without caste differences. The party will uphold Kamaraj's ideals. I have a Kamaraj within me. I will try to establish a govt along his line of thinking," said Sarath as President of the party and his supporters gave him rousing applause all through his speech.

The meaning of the flag?
The red color on top is for labour and revolution. The yellow below is for auspiciousness. The star inside the red color symbolizes the radiant sun spreading light all over the world.
It is supposed to be a party for the Nadar community?
This is not only for Nadars but this party will work hard for all in Tamilnadu. The office bearers of the party are from various social segments.
Will you give your wife Radhika a responsible post?
She will always be with me and support me in my endeavours.
Are you competing with Vijayakanth?
There's nothing wrong in competition. One can compete in how one can do good for the people. But there should be no jealousy. Vijayakanth may have started a party before me, but I entered politics before he did.
Will you form an alliance or go solo in the elections?
On going home only one knows what food is available for the day. Similarly, one can take such decisions only when election time approaches.
As he sang lines of "poga poga theriyum, indha poovin vaasam puriyum..." the supporters were beaming.
