He had written a historical short novel titled 'Sarapallam Chamundi' and writer Ilavenil has made it into a film 'Ulliyin Osai.' It is produced by Arumuganeri Murugesan. The CM has written the film's story, dialogues and one song.
During the shooting of 'Ulliyin Osai,' the CM closely followed the day's shooting developments. Before the completion of the film, he saw the footage and even suggested some corrections. Among those films he has written stories and dialogues for, it is for 'Ulliyin Osai' that he has shown most interest.
Starring Vineeth, Keerti Chawla and Akshaya, the film is to be released on coming 4th. Producer Murugesan held a special screening for the CM yesterday. He was accompanied by his wife Rajathiammal, daughter Kanimozhi, minister son MK Stalin and some ministers.
Others who were invited for this special screening yesterday included Kamal, Rajini, Sathyaraj, Bhagyaraj, Manorama, B Kannan and Bharatiraja.
The Chief Minister M Karunanidhi enjoyed watching 'Ulliyin Osai' in a hall full of VIPs. In fact, after a very long time, has a film been screened for so many VIPs on one occasion.
