Hari's explanation for gory scenes
- 02.07.2009
Surya

The title of 'Pottu Thallu' would be suitable for any Hari film, since they are full of unbelievable violence.

Hari's next story is 'Singam.' Starring Surya and Anushka, story discussions are going on. The story is said to centre on a police officer.

The film would surely have weapon wielding scenes? "Definitely no," says Hari shocking us. What then?

"My bani is commercial. The producers who believe in me and invest must see good returns. I must do the needful for that. It's fine that it gets me the title of commercial director. In villages, when a person gets angry, the sickle speaks. That's why the sickle wielding scenes take place in my films. I shall overlook those who criticize that.

As far as 'Singam' is concerned, there will be no sickle type sentiment. The story takes place in the city as well as village," said Hari.
