Srikanth and ‘Vennila kabadikuzhu’ fame Vishnu are the heroes of the film and Poorna is the heroine.  Director Suda who used to assist director Mani Rathnam has directed the film.

Talking about the film Srikanth said

“for the first time I am acting in a film directed by a female director.  Women are successful in all fields equal to men.  It is not easy to shoot in North Chennai.  Director Sudha who had scheduled 64 days of shooting, yet completed the shooting in 57 days.  She has shown a man to the maximum beauty that can be visualized by a woman. 

Whenever we start the rehearsals Thyagarajan would join us and discuss with us, sometimes giving us tips without any hang up of senior actor”.
