Was it because she supported the leaf party or was it because none of the producers took notice of her, she is giving more importance to Telugu films. Yes, Simran’s re-entry to films is through a Telugu film.
Telugu actor Balakrishna is acting in ‘Okka Magadu.’ Simran has agreed to act in the film, but she has not yet divulged what her role is. She had been adamant that she would do only heroine roles; that’s why she did not get any Tamil film offers after marriage. She does not seem unduly bothered by that.
So, is Simran doing the heroine role in ‘Okka Magadu’? No. Anushka and Nisha Kothari (that is Amoga of ‘J J’ fame) are the young heroines. So, is she doing an itty bitty akka or anni role in this? If so, the Tamil producers will get really annoyed.
After all, there’s a big shortage of glamorous akkas and annis in Tamil films!
