'Thoothukudi' Hari Kumar next dons the makeup for 'Madura Sambavam' that is as the name suggests, set in Madurai .
Assistant director and song lyricist, Yureka now turns director. He was assistant director to Vikraman and has written lyrics for 'Kaadhal Seiyya Virumbu,' 'Thiruranga,' and 'Prathi Gnayiru.'
Hari Kumar has 2 heroines. One is Anuya who is now acting in 'Siva Manasula Sakthi' and 'Thoothukudi' Karthika is the other heroine. Radha Ravi, Raj kapoor and Kaadhal Dandapani do important roles. NDTV Imagine Film Company presents the film that is produced by Wide Angle Creations. We asked the poet making his debut as director, about the film.
"The story is all about the dark side of Madurai . There are many meanings for the word sambavam. Many incidents have been brought together to form the screenplay. The film's songs and fights will be typical of Madurai soil. We plan to complete shooting the whole film in 50 days."
