Music for the film is composed by Harris Jayaraj and Vijay, Kajal Agarwal, Sathyan, Jayaram and Vidyut Jamwal are acting in the film.  Keen in showing Vijay in ‘Thupakki’ in a manner never seen before, he is planning to release the ‘First Look’ of the film soon.

A.R.Murugadoss has tweeted about the film: “there are five songs and one short song in the film.  The theme music will be composed during the next week.  The next schedule shooting will begin on April 12.  On a request from Vijay I am also intending to appear in a small role in the film.  We are working on the film’s ‘First Look’.
