Mamta who is acting in ‘Sivapadhikaram’ has a good voice. She has already sung for a few recording companies. On coming to Chennai, she recorded her voice and sent it to some music composers. Singing also brings in extra income!

Unfortunately the Tamil composers did not bother, and she got her first singing chance in Telugu.

Ramya Krishnan’s husband Krishna Vamsi is directing a film featuring NTR Jr and Ileana. The music is by Devisriprasad. He has given Mamta a song to sing and it will be picturised on Ileana.

Happy that she has at last got a break in singing, Mamta has again sent her demo Cd to Tamil composers.

Whether she makes it as an actress or not, she has singing as another optional career!
