Viji of 'Allithandha Vaanam' fame, is directing this film. Prakashraj, who plays an actor in the film, is said to have criticized Rajini in the film. Viji refutes this allegation, saying there is no such scene in the film.
Prithviraj and Prakashraj are supposed to be having a hard time in life and come in search of film offers. Viji suggested that use their old clothes in these scenes to give an authentic touch and they agreed readily.
This has not only given the realistic touch, it has also saved a lot of expenses and helped the budget.
