Manisha went to the US to study a course on Direction, even when she was in the peak as an actress. She lived alone in a flat in New York, cooking her own meals and completed the course.
Now she is ready to put her knowledge to test. "I have three good stories in hand. Out of these, one is about sex workers in Nepal. Several young girls are being pushed into the business. I have spoken to them and have got their views about their dreadful lives and would like to portray that on screen" says Manisha.
When we mentioned that several movies have been made already on the same theme, she countered that since she has spoken directly to the girls, she has first hand information and so the film will be very thorough.
