Talking about it Sanford Pantich, head of Fox International Productions, said “we have produced about 75 films in Hollywood and we are also producing films in Hindi.  When we decided to produce Tamil films we chose to go with Murugadoss.  Besides identifying and introducing new talent, we will also take them to international films. 

Director Murugadoss said “they had asked me to direct a Hindi film.  As I had planned to do a Tamil film I could not do it.  Then they asked if I could produce Tamil films for them and I agreed.

My company will be called A.R.Murugadoss productions.  To begin with we will do small budget films and big budget films will follow later.  The first film will be directed by my assistant Saravanan.  Vimal and Jai are the heroes of the film and the heroine is yet to be finalized.  Daman will compose the music for the film”.
