'Kandasamy' shooting has been affected by the recent troubles in Kenya. Produced by Kalaipuli Thanu, 'Kandasamy' is directed by Sasi Ganesan. Appearing in several costumes, there is a sequence in which Vikram is singing a song with young African people.

Preparations were being made for Vikram, Sasi Ganesan and the crew to travel to Kenya on day after tomorrow. But Kenya's embassy has denied permission for them to travel to Kenya.

It is learnt that due to widespread disturbances in Kenya, they have not granted permission.

Disappointed by the turn of events, Sasi Ganesan is arranging to shoot the sequence by erecting a set in Prasad Studios.
