'Pandi' is produced by Nemichand Jhapak and directed by Madhuravan. The film features Lawrence, Sneha and Namitha. Music is by Srikant Deva. The audio release took place yesterday at AVM Studios, Chennai.
Dhanush released the songs and Sandhya accepted it. The CD was released by Bharath and Perarasu received it. Before that 2 songs were screened. Thwe dance by Sneha and Lawrence to the re-mix of "maasi maasam..." put everyone in surprise. Whoever thought glamour and Sneha were miles apart will have their notions shattered.
There's also a dance by Lawrence and Namitha and the blatant suggestive lyrics by Perarasu had one grimacing in disgust. Speaking on the occasion, it was ironical when Perarasu said, "Director Madhuravan is a friend of mine, so I consented to write lyrics for one song.'
Despite such irritations, Raghava Lawrence did something to remember. He's in the process of helping 32 children have heart surgery. His effort took off with a cheque for Rs. 1 lakh donated by producer Jhapak.
