Produced by Ayngaran International, the film is titled 'Angadi Theru.' "Just like every house has a tale to tell so too does every street. One such will be of Angadi Theru," says the director.
It's based on a real story, so as not to lose its natural flavour, a new comer has been cast in the hero role. The lucky guy is Mahesh, the son of a snack vendor at a theatre at Dindigal.
After checking out a few thousand faces, Mahesh is finally the chosen one. He's a volley ball player at State level and he was rather shy to begin with. That was dispelled with 'Katradhu Thamizh' Anjali's tuition. She's the heroine of the film. Writer Jayamohan has written the dialogues.
"This is the story of the emotions, love, doubts and feelings of people on Angadi Theru," says the director with pride.
