Aadhavan has written the story, screenplay and the dialogues and directed the film too.  ‘Saravanabhava’ revolves around the theme of the incarnation of Kaliyuga diety Kandan and how his blessings protect the world from coming to an end.  Master Sudama Sabarigiriswaran is acting as the young deity Balamurugan while new faces like Satish, Selvaraj, Bharathi, Desinguraja, Kaalai, Meenatchi maindan and Deepa are acting in important roles.

Spiritualist T.R.S.Mani Iyer Swamigal belonging to Andaman has written the original story of ‘Saravanabhava’ and he is the producer too of the film.  He also appears in the roles of a magician and a monk
