Newcomer director Srihari has changed that image and made him act as a good father. He was assistant to Sundar C and is basically an artist. He has worked as assistant to art director GK and has now been promoted to director.
The story is supposed to be about the youngsters who live across each other and how love blossoms between them. Instead of spouting the clichéd "This is a different type of story," Srihari modestly says that he has tried out a love story in a different manner. This encourages positive expectations of the film.
Two newcomers Ratan and Manju play the lead pair. Having seen Kotta Srinivasa Rao always as a villain, it will be a pleasant surprise to see him as the good dad of the hero.
"This film will not feature the trademark elements of Tamil cinema like kuthu song, double meaning entendres, fights and smooching scenes," says Srihari happily.
Songs by debut making composer Jack Anand are supposed to have come out well. Producer Shankar V Rajan has a lot of faith in Srihari and spent generously for the film.
