Last year actor Shah Rukh Khan's film 'Om Shanthi Om' was screened and he was invited as a special invitee.
This year that honour is given to AR Rehman. The dress designer of the Cannes festival will be staying here through out the duration of the festival. 'Billa' will be screened on 18th and director Vishnuvardhan is already there in France. Ajith also will join him during the screening.
Producer PL Thenappan said that he was going to Cannes just to get to know the business process. Moser Baer which had its DVD stall there will be participating in the festival again this year.
Along with them you can expect to see Prakashraj, Suhasini, Revathi and many more in Cannes!
