Bharatiraja and RC Sakthi who contested for the post of the President accused each other. RC Sakthi complained to the election officer that Bharatiraja group threatened to withdraw from contesting.
Frustrated by the frontline directors, the assistant directors who are members of the Association formed a front called Naalaya Iyakkunargal Ani and contested in the election.
Some directors of the Bharatiraja group including Selvamani and Stanley were busy decorating the place where the elections were to be held the night before. Some people who came there intruded and attacked director Velmurugan, it is reported.
The attackers are actor GK Ritesh's supporters, accused RK Selvamani.
The directors filed a complaint with the police station on this attack and they informed the election officer also.
Following that the election of the Association was postponed. Bharatiraja and RC Sakthi have condemned each other for this.
It has to be reconciled that this postponement has made a permanent scar in the unity of directors.
