Wedding bells in Tirupati for Meena

Meena has now become a married woman. She wed a Bangalore engineer.
Meena first starred in Nadigar Thilakam's 'Nenjangal.' She was then Baby Meena. 'Anbulla Rajinikanth' got Meena a good name. She did not act for a few years till Rajkiran made her into a heroine. She made good use of this opportunity and acted with top stars like Kamal, Rajini and so on.
After many years of being a career woman, her parents finally got her betrothed to Vidyasagar, an engineer from Bangalore . The wedding was held yesterday at Tirupati at the hall belonging to Akila Indhiya Arya Vaisya Sangam at 5.45am .
Meena was wearing a blue and green sari and matching choli. Her green stone bangles matched with her sari. Vidyasagar was wearing a sherwani in north Indian style. The thali was tied at 6.30am with those present showering the newly wedded couple with rice confetti.
After the wedding, the couple went for a darshan of the Lord and were able to get the darshan at abut 9am .
From the Tamil cinema field, producer D Siva, director Cheran, actress Sanghavi were present at the function. The wedding reception will take place tomorrow at Chennai.
