In its explanation, the Censor Board has replied that there was no scene that portrays Vaishnavites in a derogatory way and Kamal has acted as Ramanuja fighting for the cause of Vaishnavites.  Also there were no scenes in the film of the clash between Saivites and Vaishnavites and throwing the Ranganatha idol in the sea and stamping Bhagavat Gita by the foot.

As the producer had asked for more time to respond, the case has been adjourned to 20th.
