Jayam Ravi will do the role done by Siddarth and Genelia does her role in the Tamil version too. The film is directed by Ravi's brother Raja.
'Jayam,' 'M Kumaran Son of Mahalakshmi' and 'Unakkum Enakkum' directed by Raja were all remade from Telugu. People hoped his fourth film at least would be an original Tamil film, or if not, at least a remake of a Malayalam, Kannada or Hindi film. But Raja has dashed all those hopes by doing yet again a Telugu film remake.
