Stunt master Kanal Kannan has done small roles in films including 'Avvai Shanmugi.' He now turns hero in 'Satru Mun Kidaitha Thagaval.'
Having committed a murder, Kanal Kannan pretends to be mentally ill and gets admitted to a mental hospital. Policeman Karunaas snoops him out and gets admitted into the same mental institution as a mentally ill patient. How Karunaas discovers the identity of Kanal forms the story line.
Kausalya acts as the doctor whop treats these two 'mentally ill' patients. Though Kanal is the main hero of the film, Karunaas is equally important and he's like a second hero of the film. This paves the way for Karunaas to start his solo hero career!
Thakkali Srinivasan had stayed away from films for a long time. He makes his comeback as director of this film.
