Jeevan IT Academy's Campus Readiness Project has now transformed into a course.
Dr. C Chandramouli, Secretary of Information Technology, Tamilnadu, inaugurated it. Dr. Mannar Jawahar, Vice Chancellor of Anna University, launched the course. K Purushottaman, regional director of NASCOM, K Balasundaram of Hexaware Technologies, Jeevan Technologies and Academy's Director D Napoleon participated in the function.
Students studying in their final or pre-final year, from any educational institutes with background of Information Technology and Engineering are eligible for registering in Jeevan IT Academy's Campus Readiness Project that includes practical training on the job as part of its curriculum.
The Campus Readiness Project (CRP) aims at developing the individual skills of students by identifying the technology in which the student is strong and interested and working with them on real time projects after making them technically strong through the technical training. By thus enhancing their overall potential through soft skill and communication training, it will make them prepared for facing the campus interviews of corporates with self confidence. This in turn will help the corporate to get the best talent from the campus recruitment.
Talking about this, D Napoleon, Chairman of the academy, says, "To suit the growing requirements of the IT industry, the training modules at Jeevan IT Academy are aimed at enhancing the employability of fresh talents into employable and industry ready consultants. This helps to bridge the gap between educational institutes and the corporate thereby improving the efficiency of workforce. The program is delivered by experienced industry professionals. The training period includes 400 hours of training over a period of 2 months. This includes a real time project for on the job training as part of the project curriculum."
