Rajasekaran is an artist. For a district conference of the Marxist Communist party, he made a humongous painting of EMS Namboodripad. This has entered the Guinness Book.
Rajasekaran has worked as assistant director to Adoor Gopalakrishnan in the Malayalm film 'Nizhalkuthu.' Impresed by his artistry, Adoor made him the art director for his short films like 'Mohiniyattam.' Rajasekaran was a full fledged art director for Adoor's feature film 'Naalu Pennungal.' It is based on the writer Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai's book and features Nandita Das, Padmapriya and others.
For having re-created Kerala houses of the 50's, Rajasekaran was awarded the best art director recognition for 2007 by the Kerala Govt. Congratulations from cinesouth!
