It would have been easier for the police to find Bin Laden than to locate Preethi Varma. She was reportedly in Mumbai and just when the police were to set off to Mumbai, she put in an appearance at the court.

Preethi Varma went missing last month on 12th at Rajamundry. Her parents reported that her boyfriend had kidnapped her. She reported that her parents were forcing her into despicable things. Not knowing what to believe, the police tried very hard to find out where she was, but that was easier said than done.

On behalf of Preethi Varma, her lawyer filed a case that she had married the man of her choice and was living in Mumbai. She did not want to go back to her parents and wanted to be left alone to live her life in peace. Last Friday, Preethi appeared at the Mumbai court and gave her statement. Accordingly, the judge has conveyed this information to the Chennai police.

Thanks to Preethi Varma's being back, the Chennai police have postponed their Mumbai visit.
