Journal Nizhal and Tamilnadu Short Film and Documentary Film Makers Association are jointly conducting workshops all over Tamilnadu. For those who have great love for cinema and the art of film making, the workshops open their eyes to the art of making of short films and documentaries, and how to bring prestige and respect to short films and documentaries made in Tamilnadu, says Nizhal's P Thirunavukkarasu.
At the workshop conducted from August 8 to 14 at Madurai, participants will receive training in screenplay, camera work, editing and acting, with practical training.
At the workshop that took place in Chennai, experienced people like Balu Mahendra, Mysskin and Balasingham interacted with the participants and shared their experiences. Prominent film personalities will teach at the Madurai workshop too.
