Every year, the international film festival takes place in Panaji, Goa and this year, the fest starts on Nov 22. The director of the festival, SM Khan, made the following announcement.
'The international film festival will start on Nov 22 with Kamal and Rekha as chief guests. Goa Governor SS Sidhu and Chief Minister Digambar Kamat will also participate. Hindi actress Amritha Rao will present the show and actress Ileana is special guest.
About 15 films have been chosen for the competition category. One is Priyadarshan's 'Kanchivaram' starring Prakashraj that will be screened. About 47 films directed by non resident Indians will be featured. Lifetime Achievement Award will be conferred on actor Dilip Kumar, actress Saroja Devi, and playback singer Lata Mangeshkar."
