I don’t mind doing mother-in-law role: Manisha Koirala

After a long gap, Manisha Koirala returns to Tamil films with "Mapillai". 

"Mapillai" is the remake of the old Rajini film. Dhanush plays the lead role. Manisha Koirala plays the role of the wicked mother-in-law.
 
Manisha has acted in a few Tamil films like "Bombay" and "Mudhalvan". She was also featured in "Baba" opposite Rajini. She then went back to Hindi films. So what is it like to do the elderly role of a mother-in-law? Here is her response.
 
"I’m aware that first and foremost, I am an actress. In "Bombay", I played mother to 2 children. I was just 22 years old then. I have no qualms in acting as a mother-in-law. It’s a nice experience to act in "Mapillai". Dhanush is a talented actor. I have not seen Rajini’s "Mapillai" completely. I've seen just a few scenes. I don't want to copy the character exactly as in the old film. I would like to do it in my style", says Manisha Koirala.
