Simran and Khushboo have a whole lot of fans but even they have not shown much interest in fan clubs. But Trisha is encouraging her fan clubs to raise awareness in blood donation and helping educate underprivileged kids. Her fans still follow the trend of doing milk abhishekam for their idol.
With the release of 'Kireetam,' Trisha started a whole lot of charity work. The chief of her fan club went in person to the theatres releasing 'Kireetam' and installed banners and Trisha cut-outs.
They also put a cutout in Jayanthi theatre in Thiruvanmiyur. The drama created by Trisha fans that almost hid the theater, put Ajith fans in shock. There was hardly any place for Ajith cutouts thanks to Trisha fans lording over the available space. This caused a verbal quarrel between the 2 fan groups.
One can hardly expect polished behavior from those who install cutouts and there was a tussle after which the theatre office had to call the police. The police arrived and made peace between the 2 groups. But the Trisha cutout still dominates the place, so the police are still there in case more trouble is to follow.
When even general public do not have police protection, it is kali yuga that an actress cutout is having police protection!
