After his speech at Rameshwaram, was deemed anti-govt, Ameer was arrested and he has been released on bail. He plans to release 'Yogi' for Pongal, so work on the film is speeding up. Following this, he plans to do an action film with Vikram. There is however a small change in this. He plans to incorporate the Eelam problem into the story.
Even before he had been arrested, Ameer at mentioned in a function that he would make a film on the Eelam Tamils issue. After his arrest, that idea has become stronger in Ameer.
While in prison, Ameer learnt from Seeman about the beginning of the struggle of the Tigers, so he has an idea of the crux of the story and how he could evolve the screenplay.
Ameer is to narrate the story to Vikram, who for long has been wanting to do a role of a military man. So, it is expected that he would accept this role. In case Vikram is not interested in the role, Ameer would look out for another actor.
