Manish Malhotra's dress designs are famous on a national level and most of the top stars of Bollywood have costumes designed by him.
He was the costume designer for Rajini in 'Sivaji' and in great part, they helped give Rajini his youthful look too.
In the next Shankar-Rajini project of 'Robot,' Manish Malhotra has again been signed on as the costume designer. Since this is a totally different type of role in 'Robot,' the costumes also have to belong to an entirely different genre.
Rajini wore his newly designed costumes for the photo session conducted in Mumbai and Chennai. Yesterday, the photo session was held at a studio in Nungambakkam where he again wore Malhotra's creations. The designer was present.
Like the new type costumes, varied wigs were also used. Make-up artist Banu took care of the hair dressing. It's notable that she was responsible for the hairstyles in 'Sivaji' too.
Rajini's appearance for 'Robot' has not yet been finalized. After checking out the stills of all 3 photo sessions, the choice will be made. If necessary, there will be more photo sessions.
