This new 'Polladhavan' is an action film directed by Vetrimaran. "There is absolutely no resembelnace to the old film 'Poladhavan.' Both stories are very different," explains Vetrimaran. "The heroine is Telugu actress Poonam Bajwa."
Dhanush has removed the beard and moustache of 'Parattai Engira Azhagusundaram' as well as cut his long hair shorter. This makes him look 4 years younger. But what is surprising is the muscles he sports on his slender body. He has built up his physique for the role.
Music composer GV Prakash Kumar, who made his debut in 'Veyil' composes for this film. Camera is by Velraj and editing by V T Vijayan.
This may be her first Tamil film but Poonam Bajwa is a known face in Telugu. She looked happy when we spoke to her at the shooting. "I have a decent place in Telugu films. I would like to do the same in the Tamil film field too."
