'Pattiyal' fame Sekar has the right to re-make Kamal's 'Kalyanaraman and Lawrence was supposed to do Kamal's role. Due to the intervention of 'Alibaba' project, 'Kalyanaraman' is temporarily suspended.
Lawrence who is doing 'Pandi' has, however, not given up his keenness to act in re-make films. After 'Pandi', Lawrence will be acting in Rajini's 'Thambikku endha ooru? Lawrence himself will be revising the story to suit present day trends.
The director of the film is yet to be decided!
