'Kuruvi' is a Vijay starrer in Dharani's direction. Recently the songs of the film were released. There are some lines in the lyrics by Pa. Vijay in the song 'Mozhu mozhunnu yamma yamma...' composed by Vidyasagar that names Thillayadi Valliyamma.

These are the lines that have created the controversy. Some Tamil Sangams have protested that these lines insult Thillayadi Valliyammai who taught Tamil to Mahatma Gandhi.
The Tamil protagonists have demanded the removal of this song from the album, otherwise they will go to court.
