The inauguration took place yesterday evening at Film Chamber. Srilankan Deputy High Commissioner P M Amza declared open the festival.
Also present were K Kannan (President of Indo-Cine Appreciation Foundation), Sivasakthi Pandian (the Treasurer of Film Producers Association), actor Srikanth and his wife Vandana.
At the end of the function, Thangaraj, Secretary of ICAF, conveyed his thanks to the gathering.
The festival will go on till 24th. The award winning THEERTHA YATHRA, SUDU SEVANELI, SAKMAN MALUWA, SOORIYA ARANA and GAMPERALIYA are being screened in the fest.
