"Just because she is an actress, I am not for projecting Nayantara as a glamour girl. She has acted very much in keeping with the character she plays in the film. We did not force her to do a glam role. When narrating the story we told her she has to do close scenes in a song sequence and she consented.
We originally planned to complete 'Sathyam' within 3 to 4 crores. But now the film's budget has touched 23 crores. It is coming to screens in Telugu and Tamil at the same time. The Telugu version is titled 'Salute.' We are planning 600 prints in both languages."
