Vijayakanth's next offering to his party people as well as film fans is 'Arasangam.' It is to be released shortly.
His 151st film 'Engal Asaan' is to be produced by Thangaraj for Yuvasree Pictures. He has earlier produced 'Sundara Travels' and 'Meesai Madhavan.' Even though the inauguration pooja took place a month back, shooting started only from this 21st.
'Engal Asaan' shooting will take place for a month at Polachi, Gobichettypalayam and the surroundings in a one month schedule.
Sheryl Pinto, the heroine of 'Arasangam,' plays the heroine in this film too. A newcomer plays the villain role.
Kalaimani who has earlier done 'Thai Porandhachu' and 'Super Kudumbam,' is responsible for story, screenplay, dialogues and direction. Lyrics are by Pa Vijay and Snehan. Music is by Sabesh-Murali.
