'Sivaji' pics also made it into print media in spite of heavy security. Because of this, Shankar re-shot some scenes of Rajini as well as of his co-stars. Costumes were changed. Shankar had kept Rajini's bald appearance in the climax as a secret. Those pics also appeared and spoilt the thrill of the climax.
To avoid these shortcomings of 'Sivaji,' Shankar took extra care to protect 'Endhiran' from the public eye. Hi-tech methods were used to prevent pics being taken by cell phones. Astonishingly, even that has been broken and pics of the Machu Pichu shoot have been posted on the Internet. These unauthorized pics have been featured in the print media too.
