Punnagai Poo Geeta who invested in the film, not knowing what a hit it would be, is pleased as punch about its success. Encouraged by the film's success, Geeta has started her next film 'Pattiyal' to be again directed by Vishnuvardhan.
When approached by journalists as to her decision to appoint Vishnuvardhan as director of her new venture, based on the success of his earlier film, this is what she had as explanation.
"Vishnuvardhan has a fire burning in him. Since he makes films in the prescribed time for the allotted budget, he could be termed the producers' director. He is able to fulfill the expectations of producers, cent percent. I like his drive," said Geeta in an appreciative tone and Vishnuvardhan was indeed a happy man.
"The same team that worked in 'Arindhum Ariyaamalum' will work in 'Pattiyal' too. Arya and Bharath are the heroes, Pooja is the heroine," elaborated Vishnuvardhan. So, what's the story? Hush…and we abstained from asking any more such questions!
