For the re-make of the Malayalam film, director P Vasu will make changes to suit Rajinikanth. While the search is on for the rest of the cast, the superstar has gone to meditate in the Himalayas.
Rajini returns to Chennai in Feb 2nd week only. The shooting is hence scheduled to start on Feb 15.
When Mammootty was asked about Rajini doing his role from the film 'Kadhaparayum Pol,' this is what he had to say.
"I have done the role of one who struggles a lot in life and becomes an actor. I am very happy Rajini is doing the role since I feel he's more suited to the role than I.
I was born in a rich family and earned a lot as a lawyer. Only after that I came into films. But Rajini is not like that. He was a bus
conductor, who struggle every step of the way to become a top actor. That's why I think Rajini sir is best suited to play the role," said Mammootty.
