Simran fell out of grace after she got married. The one offer that came to her to co-star with her husband went kaput. Ranjeeta invited her to co-star with her husband Rajasekhar in a Telugu film and then changed her mind since Simran has put on weight. When Simran felt thoroughly vexed with these events, she received an offer to star in ‘Dasavataram.’ Of the 9 roles Kamal is to don, Simran will pair with him for one of the roles.
Ranjitha seems to be a shade luckier than Simran. Having moved to the small screen, Ranjitha has been doing a small role here and there as mother or sister in films. Recently she got a sweet call from Bharathiraja to act as Nana Patekar’s heroine in ‘Cinema’ being directed by him in Hindi.
Ranjitha took off to Mumbai soon after!
