'Villu' is the 48th film for Vijay. His next film 'Vettaikaran' will be produced by Balasubramaniam of AVM, and directed by Babu Sivan, an assistant of Dharani.
Vijay's 50th film will be produced by SA Chandrasekhar's V V Creations but the director has not yet been confirmed. News circulated in the media that attempts were on to pair Asin with Vijay and other journals wrote that Asin was to act in a Babu Sivan film.

After the Hindi 'Ghajini,' Asin is busy in Vipul Shah's 'London Dreams.' Salman Khan and Ajay Devgun are the heroes. 'Ghajini' is to be released in December but the publicity will start from October itself. Asin must surely participate in that.
From, Feb 2009, Asin's call sheet goes to a film directed by Bharat Bala. She acts as a Kerala princess in this film. Kamal is also in the film. So, Asin is busy till next year end.
So, there is no truth in rumours that she is to pair with Vijay in a film, says Asin.
