It is ok if people who see the film say they don't like the film. But if they say they don't understand the film?

Director Tarun Gopi has envisioned the screenplay with flashback scenes of Sangeetha-Seema in the latter part of the film and Simbu taking revenge on the villains in the early part. This has caused confusion in viewers, so they do not understand what the film is about.

So the 'Kaalai' team has hastened to the theaters running the film and put the Sangeetha-Seema flashback in the first half and the revenge scenes in the latter half. The opening scene features Simbu's song "Karuppusamy..."

According to Tarun Gopi, this change has brought in more viewers for whom the screenplay is now straightforward.

There's a case in the court that Tarun Gopi has cheapened the mother-in-law and son-in-law relationship in 'Kaalai.' "I have done no such thing," responds Tarun Gopi is all set to clarify his stand.
