Simran is right now out of films, but fans still remember her. Pyramid Saimira recently conducted a program on TV where the question was which film star would they most like to see on TV and most of the answers specified Simran!
Pyramid Saimira can get even Brahma to act and from March onwards, one will get to see Simran in 'Simran Thirai.' This will feature 12 stories for a year, one a month. All will feature Simran as the central character and each story will handle a different rasa.
Simran had no hesitation in accepting the offer. Speaking about it, she said,"My first acting appearance was in DD Metro's Superhit Muquabala. Only after that I entered films. I am happy to come back to television after such a long gap."
