‘Roja Malli Kanakambaram'

Jagannath has made even the title fragrant. He directs ‘Raoja Malli Kanakambaram.'
It is so common to see directors turning actors that it has lost its novelty. The latest fashion is for directors to turn producers. Some years back, the list stopped with Balachander, Bharatiraja, Bhagyaraj and Parthiban.
When director Cheran turned producer his first film ‘Autograph' earned him victory. Others directors like Ameer, Bala, Lingusamy and Sasi Kumar followed his example and turned producers. Jagannath is the latest to join this list.
He made his debut as director with Vijay's film ‘Pudhiya Geetham.' He directed ‘Kodambakkam' and ‘Raman Thediya Seethai.' He acted as the immediate elder brother of Tarun Gopi in ‘Mayandi Kudumbathar' and is also donning makeup in ‘Koripalayam' and ‘Maathiyosi.'
The next step Jagannath takes is to join with friends and start his own production company called Maruti Movie Magic. Their first production is ‘Roja Malli Kanakambaram.'
