Song sequence of ‘Matran’ shot in Pune

Director K.V. Anand who gave successive hits in ‘Ayan’ and ‘Ko’ has joined hands with Surya and is currently directing ‘Matran’. By count he has directed three films, but the first film ‘Kana Kaalangal’ was not a success. The next two films only became hits.
Hoping to hit a hat trick with ‘Matran’, K.V. Anand is very alert in directing the film. The film gives equal importance for the villain characters too.
The director recently filmed the song sequence with Surya and Kajal Agarwal. The song was composed by Harris Jeyaraj. K.V. Anand was the cinematographer for the Rajini starrer ‘Sivaji’. The song “Ballelaka…’ for the film was shot in Pune and he felt that shooting the song sequence for ‘Matran’ too in Pune would come out well and so it was shot there.
