On three occasions Gautam Menon had given interviews to the media and spoken about Ajith.  But Ajith had maintained silence without any reaction.  He had never responded even once for all that. 

Now Ajith has opened to Gautam Menon very strongly.  Asked about what Gautam Menon meant when he said that he no more needs Ajith, he had responded as below in an interview:

“Gautam Menon has claimed that he does not need Ajith.  My simple answer is: without me he had done 10 films and I have done 50 films without him.

It is absurd that I have not focused on movies as I am interested in motor racing.  I get thoroughly involved in whatever I choose.  It is true that there has been a gap when I went for motor racing.  But now I have come back.”
