Tharagu
Just like there's a villain against villain, this time there's a vamp against the villain.
Sanjay is a real estate agent who swindles people. The heroine Dimple contacts him to buy a house and he falls in love with her. When a problem arises in his job, he makes plan to go overseas with his girl friend and stashes the 50 crores he has made in Dimple's house.
Having made all the arrangements for the overseas trip, he returns to Dimple's house. He gets a shock when he sees the money and girlfriend are both missing. If someone thinks that this is the work of his opponent, they could not be far wrong. He gets deeply distressed when he realises his girlfriend has vanished with his money. What happens when the hero goes in search of his money and girlfriend, forms the rest of the film.
Even though he's a newcomer to the screen, one cannot dismiss Sanjay easily. He is very impressive when he finds it difficult to dethrone his girlfriend from the pedestal even after she has cheated him.
It looks as if Dimple has all the tricks of the cinema trade at her fingertips. She has the required beauty, acting and glamour.
Vennira-adai Murthy is an example of how a bull might turn slim, but not its horns. Like a young lad, his rollicking comedy has everyone in splits.
Rajan P Dev may appear only in a few scenes in his role as encounter specialist, but he stays in the mind. Vinu Chakravarthy as the minister and Mahanadhi Shankar as the Councillor are entertaining.
After a long time, "mansum mansum" composed by Bharani is touching.
If you can overlook logic, you can enjoy 'Tharagu.'
